The terraced restaurant offered a delightful dining experience, where the homemade muffins for breakfast were a highlight. The picturesque surroundings made it easy to unwind, though the rocky beach necessitated water shoes for comfort. On the downside, my request for rare steak led to a well-done outcome, slightly diminishing the experience, but the overall food quality remained high.

Great swimming in a volcanic lake and stunning views from the balcony. Overall atmosphere is peaceful and beautifully decorated.
Food options are limited, especially for longer stays, leading to meal repetition. A barking dog outside made for a restless night despite attempts to drown out the noise with fans and earplugs.

The eco-friendly vibe of Casa Marimba combined with breathtaking views of the Laguna de Apoyo made my stay truly memorable, particularly the serene atmosphere for birdwatching.
Unfortunately, the water temperature in my room was not adequate for comfortable showers, which was a letdown during my stay.

The King Room with Private Terrace was spacious and offered stunning views of the lake, making it perfect for a relaxing evening. The surrounding garden was filled with vibrant birds, creating a serene atmosphere that's hard to beat. The staff was exceptionally friendly and eager to assist, which made me feel very welcomed during my six-night stay!
However, the walls were a bit thin, which led to some disturbances from neighboring rooms.
